Goodell DeVries is pleased to welcome Ian Deitz to the firm's Appellate Practice Group.
Ian is an associate representing the firm's clients in all stages of appellate matters.
Before joining Goodell DeVries, he was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Laurel Beeler of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. During law school, Ian interned at the D.C. Office of the Solicitor General, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (for the Honorable Ryan Nelson), the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Ian is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., cum laude, 2021), where he served as the
American Criminal Law Review's Senior Annual Survey Editor, and Villanova University (B.A., 2008).
