In yet another victory for Goodell Devries's professional liability practice group, George S. Mahaffey Jr. successfully obtained dismissal of a legal malpractice case before the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. In affirming the trial court's dismissal of the case, the Court of Special Appeals agreed with George's arguments that the statute of limitations barred plaintiff's claims, and rejected plaintiff's arguments that the continuation of events theory tolled the running of the statute of limitations.
