As part of its strong pro bono practice, Goodell DeVries attorney George S. Mahaffey Jr. assisted several Chesapeake Bay environmental groups in helping to change a local law to permit judicial review of contested forest conservation plans. In doing so, the groups helped to preserve a 4-acre parcel of priority forest in a planned development in Annapolis, Maryland.
