Goodell DeVries associate Ifeanyi Ezeigbo has been appointed by Governor Wes Moore to serve on the Maryland Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission for Baltimore City.
The Commission’s role is to screen candidates for judicial office, allowing the Governor to appoint the most highly qualified individuals to the bench.
Ifeanyi will serve on the Commission until 2027.
Ifeanyi is a member of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Practice Group. He represents healthcare providers and institutions in all phases of medical malpractice litigation.
He is currently President of the District of Columbia Defense Lawyers Association and an active member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, where he has served on the Communications and News Journal Committee. He is also a member of the Monumental City Bar Association. He has been named to the Top 40 Under 40 by the National Black Lawyers Top 100 every year from 2020 through 2025.
