Jhanelle Graham Caldwell, a partner at Goodell DeVries, has been elected to the Board of Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (MdVLA).
MdVLA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting artists' legal rights. Through the help of its network of lawyers, MdVLA provides pro bono legal referrals and services to artists in the state of Maryland. It also provides educational materials, lectures and seminars, and Art Law Clinics for consultations.
Jhanelle's practice at Goodell DeVries is focused primarily on defending health care providers and health care institutions in professional liability matters. Active in the community, Jhanelle is also a junior board member of Boys Hope Girls Hope Baltimore, a charitable organization that provides at-risk children with mentorship, housing, exceptional academic opportunities and support from middle school through college.
