GDLD’s associate Sean Gugerty served as coach and adviser for contestants of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law’s 7th Annual Health Law Regulatory & Compliance Competition on February 17. This competition requires teams of 2-3 students to analyze a hypothetical fact pattern involving various interactions between health care stakeholders and entities requiring regulatory and compliance oversight. Students are given 1.5 hours to analyze the problem and then present their findings and recommendations to a panel of practicing attorneys. A celebratory lunch followed the announcement of the winners.
