Goodell DeVries’s Appellate and Critical Motions Practice Group continues to grow with the addition of a new associate, Adrienne M. Fernandez.
Adrienne focuses on high-stakes written advocacy, helping clients present their strongest arguments at all critical stages of a case. Before joining the firm, she was a Law Clerk for Judge Julie Rubin at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Before that, she worked as a paralegal and case administrator at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland. During law school, she also worked as a generalist clerk at the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, where she managed appeals between the District Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Adrienne’s experience in chambers and in the clerk’s office gives her valuable insight that she brings to every brief and motion she drafts for the firm’s clients.
Adrienne graduated from the University of Maryland, Frances King Carey School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2025) and Wilmington University (B.S., Public Policy, 2021).
