Amy B. Heinrich of Goodell DeVries’ Medical Malpractice Group has been selected as a winner of The Daily Record’s 2012 Leadership in Law Award.

The Daily Record created the Leadership in Law Awards program in 2000 to recognize outstanding professional achievement, community service and mentoring within Maryland's legal community.  “We are proud to honor Amy B. Heinrich as one of The Daily Record’sLeadership in Law Award winners for 2012,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “Ms. Heinrich embodies those traits that spurred The Daily Record to establish these awards recognizing outstanding leadership within the legal profession, betterment of the community at large and a true willingness to mentor future leaders.”

This year, The Daily Record received 79 nominations, which are solicited from its readers, bar associations, chambers of commerce and the legal community at large. Nominees were then asked to complete an application that explains their innovation and the impact it has made on Maryland. A distinguished panel of judges reviewed the applications and selected 24 winners for 2012, who will be honored on Nov. 15 at a reception and dinner at The Hotel at Arundel Preserve.  For more information about The Daily Record’s Leadership in Law Awards, please visit www.TheDailyRecord.com.
