Goodell DeVries is pleased to welcome Amirah Loury to the firm as an associate in our Medical Malpractice Practice Group.
Amirah represents healthcare providers, healthcare organizations, and their insurers in medical negligence claims. Amirah’s clients include physicians, nurses, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other entities facing claims that span a wide range of specialties and clinical settings.
Before joining Goodell DeVries, Amirah was a litigation associate at a law firm in Rockville, Maryland, where she focused on insurance defense.
Amirah is a member of the D.C. Bar and Maryland State Bar Association. She holds degrees from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2024) and Denison University (B.A., 2019).
