Shoba defends healthcare providers and healthcare institutions against allegations of medical negligence. She also represents organizations in employer liability matters.
Before entering private practice, Shoba was an Assistant Public Defender at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore City. She was also a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Marisa Demeo of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
Shoba received her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, where she served as Senior Editor of the National Security Law Brief. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
