Goodell DeVries Expands Medical Malpractice Group with Three Associates

Goodell DeVries has added three associates to its Medical Malpractice Practice Group. Christina Stringer, Brooke Kasoff, and Sabrina Tolbert recently joined the firm and support the team’s defense of the region’s leading healthcare institutions and providers in medical malpractice cases.

An experienced medical malpractice defense litigator, Christina Stringer focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare organizations and individual providers in professional negligence cases. She defends a variety of providers, including hospitals and health systems, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and long-term care facilities. Before entering private practice, Christina served as law clerk to the Honorable Timothy J. Martin of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. She received her law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was an Articles Editor for the Maryland Law Review. 

Brooke Kasoff comes to Goodell DeVries with a distinct interest in defending health systems, having obtained her Health Law Certificate upon graduation from law school. She was previously a Judicial Law Clerk at the Baltimore City Circuit Court Office of the General Magistrates. While in law school, she was a student attorney at the Public Health Law Clinic and a summer law clerk at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. Brooke was Notes and Comments Editor of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law’s Journal of Health Care Law & Policy. 

Sabrina Tolbert is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and will be admitted to the bar in November 2023. Before joining Goodell DeVries, she was a legal intern in the General Counsel’s Office of Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C.; a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Daniel A. Friedman of the Appellate Court of Maryland; a research assistant in the Business Law Department at the Carey School of Law; and an intern with the office of U.S. Senator Timothy Kaine. While at the Carey School of Law, Sabrina served in the Mediation Clinic, where she mediated cases in the District Court of Maryland.
