The Goodell DeVries team of Thomas J. Cullen, Jr., Kali Enyeart Book, and Ryan M. Cullen obtained a unanimous defense verdict in a product liability case for Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, in Camden County, New Jersey.

The plaintiff had sustained a serious left foot crush injury while operating a Crown stand-up rider forklift and alleged that the forklift was defective in design because its operator compartment was not enclosed with a door. After a two-week trial before the Honorable Anthony M. Pugliese, the jury returned a 6-0 verdict in favor of Crown. The jury deliberated for approximately one hour.
