Constantine J. Themelis

PROFILE

Mr. Themelis is an associate with the firm.  In his practice, Mr. Themelis is responsible for all aspects of civil litigation, from inception through trial and post-trial proceedings.  He represents insurance companies and property owners in complex toxic tort claims in which plaintiffs allege permanent injury to children exposed to lead paint.  His practice is also devoted to products liability cases.  He serves as a member of our national trial team representing Crown Equipment Corporation in connection with litigation alleging design defects of forklifts.  Additionally, Mr. Themelis represents the insureds of general liability carriers in the defense of automobile and premises liability cases.

After graduation from law school, Mr. Themelis served as law clerk to The Honorable Robert M. Bell, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of Maryland.  Following his clerkship, Mr. Themelis worked as an associate for the Law Offices of H. Barritt Peterson, Jr. & Associates where he handled a variety of insurance defense matters.  During this time, Mr. Themelis tried to verdict dozens of jury trials and successfully argued before the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.
