Tai Dixon

PROFILE

Ms. Dixon is an associate with the firm.  Her practice is concentrated primarily on product liability defense and general civil litigation defense.  During law school, Ms. Dixon worked as a law clerk for two years in a small civil litigation practice and as a legal intern at Black Entertainment Television, Office of the Assistant General Counsel.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Dixon taught middle school English, Reading and English as a Second Language, through the Teach for America program.  While teaching, Ms. Dixon also obtained a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Curriculum Planning and Development.

SERVICE ACTIVITIES

Ms. Dixon serves as the Dean of Fundraising on behalf of the firm for College Bound’s Lawyer’s Campaign.

Ms. Dixon remains active with recruitment for the Teach for America Program.

TEACHING ACTIVITIES

Ms. Dixon currently co-teaches the Appellate Advocacy course at Howard University School of Law and coaches members of the Howard University Charles Hamilton Houston Moot Court Team in national appellate advocacy competitions.
