Peggy Chu is a partner with Goodell DeVries, where she concentrates her practice in representing individual and institutional healthcare providers against claims of medical negligence and related claims. In addition to defending healthcare providers, Peggy represents business entities and individuals in a wide variety of commercial matters, including breach of contract, fraud, business torts, and general liability matters. She also defends clients against claims of defective products, premises liability, employment discrimination, and legal malpractice. Peggy handles all phases of complex litigation, including investigation, strategy development, depositions, motions, alternative dispute resolution, trial, and appellate practice. She has prevailed on numerous dispositive motions and has repeatedly tried cases to defense verdicts.
